Why are nikkas acting like drafting is the only thing a GM does? Beli is a mediocre draft evaluator but he's on another level when it comes to evaluating underachieving talent on other teams. I think he has trouble bridging that gap between the pros and college. But once a player is in the NFl, there's no one better at understanding a players strengths and weaknesses. That's why he is the GOAT at taking away a teams number 1 weapon and the GOAT at picking up no name journeymen and making them pivotal players on superbowl teams.
Poor drafter does not equal poor GM.
I still can't get on board with calling him a poor drafter. He's had poor drafts, but every GM has. He doesn't go for a gamebreaker every year as he just tries to fill the holes with players that can do many things. It is not easy to be a top team and draft like a top team year in and year out.

The Steelers have finished with eight or fewer wins five times...........Ravens six times............Seahawks five times..............Patriots ZERO times.
It's even more lopsided if we want to use nine games as the cutoff as Pittsburgh will have won nine or fewer games seven times.......Seahawks nine times..........Ravens nine times............Patriots ONCE!
