I try to do firearm training here in Austin. Hosted Stop The Bleed Courses for us, Youth Firearm Safety. Was on the local news regarding Black Gun Ownership
I just want Black folks to be armed, trained and legally protected so this is why looking at this case is interesting to me.

That’s what I’m sayin.. literally the week this shyt went down, the Mom’s was on every news outlet admitting that she copped the gun for Kyle and they took it to Wisconsin. While at the same time saying that her son was attacked and they tried to kill him.
Where this falls apart is that a Black protester doing what Kyle did would have been shot or arrested that night. There is a presumption of authority that White men benefit from that we don’t have when dealing with police.
I’d need to see how many Black people are getting off when using stand your ground and castle doctrine defenses, but from what I’ve seen in high profile cases these laws aren’t protecting us.

Anyone actually black knows that this trial is bullshyt and largely performative, and generally speaking is really just an indictment of the divergent justice systems in place that the whole fukking situation was about in the first place. Self-defense doesn't get to work like this for anyone but white boys who 'have their whole lives ahead of them'. Everyone else gets the circumstances of 'what were you doing to cause them to react like that' applied to them - black folk, brown folk, asian folk, women. But here we literally have the law coming in to protect this white boy from even being confronted with the fact that he has victims. Because that might make him feel like he did something wrong. We need more legal representation. I'd like to see the case results also.
Also - yes the laws aren't perfect and White people get off more than they should. We're subject to shyt like No Knock Warrants for example and when we defend ourselves in those situations it affects us the most.
I just know anecdotally Black folks defending themselves and not facing charges but those were in the event of home invasions/robberies.

That is WRONG. Or he would've already been found guilty. He is not automatically guilty because he was open carrying in a state where open carry is legal. And where is was "intent" proven? Did he say before the shooting that he planned to shoot Rosenbaum?

None of what you’re spewing is the way things work in a court of law. The judge is setting the precedent at this trial. Everyone knows it. Everyone’s reporting it. To think that he’s not making his presence felt in this trial, makes you seem like a MAGA cac. In ANY other courtroom, white boy would be in cuffs, after being found guilty.. and he’d be awaiting a date for his sentencing.
