ahh you have it all figured out...So explain how NATO works then.....:jbhmm:
lol explain why Trump basically decided to disband NATO.
So let me get this straight
1. All off the ambassadors have been fired...without a grace period so to speak off.
2. There is a bill being put forward by the republicans to leave the UN
3.Trump already threatened countries whom are members of NATO, under the allusion of not paying a fair share

1 - ambassadors have been fired and not replaced for MONTHS before, this really isn't new
2 - fukk the UN, I've already made my feelings about them known here.
3 - Trump's stance on NATO might actually be his fairest point TBH.

Why is the US funding 22% of NATO spending when there are 27 other countries??

Trump aside...why is it OK for America to be funding almost a quarter of all NATO spending, while all the other countries still benefiting from it?

and...

Trump: No, I don’t want to pull it out. NATO was set up at a different time. NATO was set up when we were a richer country. We’re not a rich country anymore. We’re borrowing, we’re borrowing all of this money. We’re borrowing money from China, which is sort of an amazing situation. But it was a much different thing. NATO is costing us a fortune and yes, we’re protecting Europe with NATO but we’re spending a lot of money. Number one, I think the distribution of costs has to be changed. I think NATO as a concept is good, but it is not as good as it was when it first evolved.

1. 45 off them without a grace period is unprecedented.
2. UN might have many fault, but at the very least a platform in which world powers could communicate through.
3. NATO as already stated it is willing to change, the imbalance in payments from member states, The US is still the worlds richest country by a comfortabe margin.

This bill was introduced last year and got nowhere just like it won't this time either. The bill is cosponsored by a bunch of crazy right wingers.

The U.N is a big joke, Saudi Arabia and China are members of the human rights council, we need to get out of this mess:snoop:

and that can't be said about the US or any other super power?

Us is nowhere near the level of human right abuses of these two countries, women can't even drive in Saudi Arabia and their expatriate workers are practically slaves, don't play stupid
Levels of human rights abuses is moving the goal posts. Abuse is abuse. The treatment of the black people by their own government with everything from police violence to dispersement of funding to the flint water crisis definitely counts as an abuse of human rights. Then, if you add the proxy games being played elsewhere in the world, no one's hand is clean.
