Aren't there other viruses of Chinese origin? Calling it 'Chinese Virus' won't differentiate it from other viruses from China.

They should've done something about it in the beginning if they didn't want it to be called the Chinese flu. 
While everyone was already calling it coronavirus and COVID-19, Trump started to call it the Chinese virus to shift attention and blame onto the Chinese.
It's a clear deflection. Blaming others is not actually a useful response during a time of crisis. Instead of procuring medical equipment, establishing adequate testing infrastructure, or imposing a nationwide shelter in place order, Donald has simply sat on his azz while continually making excuses for his administration's failures.
I'm not going to call this the 'Chinese virus' because I don't take cues from Donald Trump and his rhetoric.
China should absolutely be held accountable for their failure. However, blaming them in the middle of fighting the pandemic is not going to stop thousands of our citizens from dying daily.
