It isn’t even the first novel Coronavirus that originated in bats, spread to another weird animal in a wet market which was eaten by a human, made the jump to humans and spread rapidly, got denied and ignored initially by CCP officials, spread quickly across Asia through airline travelers, then spread to the West causing panic in the 2000s.
