Life is absurd. Lean into it.
It should be named after its place of origin. There's nothing racist about it. Naming it the Wuhan Flu or anything equivalent is not only so we catalog its origin but direct whatever sanctions and disdain towards the country who allowed it to outbreak in the first place.
China doesn't fukking get it. They let a new virus pop up every 4-5 years because of their appetite for bullshyt and lack of regulation around eating said bullshyt. It's time the world begin to associate these viruses with China, because the next pandemic could be uglier than this one.
