UGK and Mobb Deep should have been higher...

Migos is up there higher than both groups and thats a damn shame.

:mjcry::scust::scust:

Migos dont have a album better Hell On Earth, Ridin Dirty, or Murda Muzik.

At least OutKast is number 1.

Dre and 3 Stacks need to have a large statue somewhere in Georgia.

Nwa has always been disrespected so this isn't really a surprise

But nwa should be number 1

They birth the current era and changed rap forever

No one in California played OutKast like that. Also They more of a duo than a group.

I mean they were a solid group. But they didn't change hip hop like nwa

But it's billboard I'm not surprised

NWA and 2 Live Crew are the reason why rappers can express themselves and curse on records...

Let's keep it real.

NWA and Public Enemy had white folks feelin uncomfortable for a minute

10 Roots
9 De La Soul
8 Salt N Pepa
7 Eric B & Rakim
6 Public Enemy
5 Run DMC
4 A Tribe Called Quest
3 NWA
2 Wu Tang
1 OutKast

predictable, roots aint top 10 to me, not sure i count eric b & rakim as a group, and i'm still like wtf @ no dogg pound, salt n pepa is GOATed, but they pandering with them as a top 10 group, bone not being top 10 is still also absurd
De La should be top 7 then I would be fine with any order you put those in with the exception of NWA. That 2nd album isn’t very good.

I also feel like this list catered to "one album wonders". Like, The Fugees had one album that was successful. Although it was a mega success, given that Bone had multiple multi-platinum albums on top of the impact and the influence, Bone should've ranked higher than The Fugees.

I love the Clipse, but again, they have Lord Willin', which was a critically acclaimed Gold album. "Grindin" had a HUGE impact. Then there's Hell Hath No Fury, which wasn't as commercially successful, but a critical one. Then they dropped Til The Casket Drops, which was neither a commercial or critical success. The Re-Up mixtape series was also impactful. They were ranked too high especially being ranked above Eightball & MJG, Goodie Mob, Onyx, and other groups.

The Hot Boys had a huge impact, but again, the one album that had that impact was Guerilla Warfare. Meanwhile, we have Big Tymers ranked lower. They aren't as good as the Hot Boys, but Big Tymers had two consecutive platinum albumsand another that went gold. Artists are biting their flows decades later. They should've been ranked higher.

The omission of Whodini is unforgivable. Whodini omitted, but the City Girls get a slot. Makes no sense.

TRU was another omission. TRU 2 Da Game really took No Limit to another level. Given this is a Billboard list, that was a double platinum album and set off that monster 1997-1999 No Limit run.

Dogg Pound should've been on the list. Do or Die should've been on the list as well.

Hip Hop has allowed people who don't know shyt about Hip Hop tell the audience what they are supposed to listen to.

Salt n Pepa and Fugees in top 15 tells me that some butthurt woman was working of these rankings as well.

Onyx and EPMD being completely disrespected with low places tells me none of them know shyt about Hip Hop.

Real talk, I'm tired of Fugees and this whole history rewritting that media does. They weren't shyt, they were rasta impostas biting Jamaican music, their career was short and wyclef is one of the most overrated musicians ever. fukk them and their hipster fans.

Also no Beatnuts in top 50, again people that don't know anything about music telling you what's good what's bad.
