Objectively, I can see that they were influential and had significant commercial success and impact. But I don’t care for their style of rapping and they’ve only rapped over one good beat as far as I’m concerned.not really
i could see the case either way, but migos put out multiple classics for their era the same as mobb, and were more successful commercially, and impactful. migos is firmly a top 15 group IMO, mobb is in my top 10, but i also wouldn't bat an eye for others who got them in the 10-20 spot
I agree that EPMD should be ranked much higher than Diplomats as well.LOL. They got the Diplomats over BOTH groups, but the takeaway is the Hot Boys is not better than EPMD?
G Unit only had ONE commercially successful album considering this a Billboard list in which sales/success is part of the criteria. Being 19 is generous considering Terminate on Sight was a flop. They had huge impact though especially with the mixtapes and the albums never really lived up to the hype.
How would they rank that high? They were a B or C level Southern rap group until 2005.Three 6 at 18??? Hell no. Top 10 at the WORST.

Top 3 ain’t bad10 Roots
9 De La Soul
8 Salt N Pepa
7 Eric B & Rakim
6 Public Enemy
5 Run DMC
4 A Tribe Called Quest
3 NWA
2 Wu Tang
1 OutKast
predictable, roots aint top 10 to me, not sure i count eric b & rakim as a group, and i'm still like wtf @ no dogg pound, salt n pepa is GOATed, but they pandering with them as a top 10 group, bone not being top 10 is still also absurd
top 10 is mostly predictable, but roots, eric b and rakim, and snp should be replaced with bone, epmd, and mobb deepTop 3 ain’t bad
de la soul is top 101-7 is legit in mostly any order. 8-10 are rated too high.
