Rex tried to tone it down, promised playoffs, once again didn't learn his lesson.

UCONN? That's beyond a step down for an NFL coach.

Uconn cause they just fired their coach yesterday. Any good job for this year is gone. Unless he wants to sit out another year. I think dude is done for the moment in the NFL and he will fit CFB better. NFL experience+being a players coach=great recruiting. Great recruiting=wins

They have no other receivers to speak of.

And in spite of all that the Bills were an overtime score away from being 8-7...probably 9-7 after they will likely beat the Jets this Sunday.

So yeah. I think Rex deserved one more year.

if your going to guarantee playoff wins when your team is plagued by injuries in a division ran by the pats then that's his fault, his cocky attitude is what caused him to get fired.


I love Rex but he isn't a head coach in the NFL.

I'm not saying Rex Ryan is a great coach, but damn sure aint as terrible as Jeff Fisher. I don't see how you can fire any coach in the NFL after 2 seasons, unless they only won 1 or 2 games. Anyways I'll take Rex as the DC for the 49ers.
