lol ikr

nikkas around my way was bumping pac and biggie and them b-legit westcoast type nikkas, master p

nikkas wasnt talkin about jayz lame azz

i dont understand where jayz is the greatest rapper when he wasnt even the best from his generation

like i said before i think all this shyt manufactured but idk i could be wrong

but he snaked dame and to me thats a flaw in his character

them other nikkas in here posted some shyt tho
so i could be wrong

jay is a great businessman, and thats where it stops.

you nailed it, back in 96 NOBODY was checking for RD.

RD didn't become "classic" until the nas beef when jay knew he had to say it was classic so he could be even with Nas. 11 years later and the camel stans have run with it.

RD wasn't even a top 10 album of 1996.

500 million singles might not be impossible, but that would mean that they've sold 7 times more singles than Rihanna. And Wayne the best selling artist on Cash Money is far from close to that. So I doubt that they're only counting singles.

Im sure they've sold 7 times more singles than Rhianna over the years, they've had hits on a somewhat regular basis since 99.

I think I see how this could happen. In the past a single was a song released from an album to be sold. Today with digital sales, every song from an album can be purchased individually, thus it becomes a single. It's possible with Cash Money's entire catalog (either since its inception or since they have been on Universal) being made available online that they could have done this. Besides that they did get a plaque, it's not like they are saying it alone.

LOL @ 500 Million. B.S. Bad Boy and Death Row sold WAY more albums and singles than Cash Money. They made that plaque themselves. Bad Boy 93-97 and Death Row 92-96 outsold their whole history. Either way someone lying. They ain't sold 500 Million albums. And they damn sure ain't sold 500 Million Singles. Sh!t you can throw in Aftermath also as they sold more singles and albums than Cash Money.

Lil Wayne - 37 million Singles sold
Nicki - 23 Million Singles Sold
Drake - 22 Million Singles Sold

Now those are just domestic sale for all their singles including Callabos. Some of those songs weren't even released on Cash Money. Sorry, somebody lying, they ain't move no 500 Million songs worldwide.

They are counting since '98 when they signed to Universal, I just checked. Off the top of my head you had big singles like get yo roll on, number 1 stunna, back that azz up, ha, set it off, bling bling etc. :yeshrug:

Random nikkaz doing 1M ringtones. This is Cash Money, it's not out of the question. But since when did they start making plaques for songs? I always thought it was records. It sounds like some kind of self lauding publicity stunt, but either way, it's 500 million more records than I sold, so :salute:

They sold more singles now than they did then. The fact is there is no evidence that they sold 500 Million singles wither it be certifications or numbers. So unless they are saying (If you combine all the songs for all the albums we sold, and you get 500 Million songs sold) which that is B.S. too. If they got this plaque, then Dre and Puffy should of gotten their in the 90's.

How can u claim to be so rich and not pay your producers who gave u ur biggest hits?

500 Mill is a reach. Funny how the person who sold the most, MJ (i think), don't even nearly brag as much bout sellin.

So now we resort to smoke and mirrors cuz the music just isn't as strong.
