But isn’t that only true if a large enough amount of people consider the finite Bitcoin as valuable?
Rarity isn’t always equal to value.
I juat don’t see how a digital currency that can be created on a whim has sustained value without a backing.
Roman coins no longer have value cause Rome doesn’t exist anymore. The material of the coin is its value.
1 bitcoin is worth 62k right now, has done nothing but rise the past ten years
I would see if made this statement in 2011, not 2021
those who don't invest in crypto today will be the underclass tomorrow, because the new rich class will be crypto from early adopters
and you can't create crypto at a whim, if that was the case everybody would be worth
its very difficult to create crypto, that's why it has value
and crypto doesn't have a country, or bound to anything that's why it was created, for our freedom
the world is changing, you either are going to get with the times or get left behind
Imagine living in a third world country where your currency is worthless, but you can have bitcoin and get rich because you can cash it 247 365 anytime you want
this is why places like India want to ban it, because their poor can be wealthy and turn their society upside down
