But we all know blacks are the only one who take the credit. No other race goes as hard to claim the full achievements of mixed race person as blacks.

It has nothing to do with taking credit for achievements. Historically white folks have looked down upon all non-whites. So minorities have tried to stick together. Why do allot of Asians and Hispanic people subscribe to black culture?

Also in the case of mixed race folks. They have NEVER been accepted by white America. They were shunned as just as bad or worse than black folks. We have always accepted them as out own because that's where society placed them. If you ask those people on your list they will tell you that they are "black" Americans. They acknowledge their white parent, but they also understand where society has placed them.

Pride should be reserved for individual achievement first of all. YOU didn't do any of that. Only people who dont' accomplish things in real life take pride in their race, something no one chose by winning a competition. My point isn't to not be proud. Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Italy, England. All those countries are in Europe. All those countries are "white". Anything that happens there would be considered white history. But do those countries have the SAME history and culture? No. Just a similar skin tone.

So I guess what you want is a reward for being the same skin tone as Ancient Egyptians? Their history still has nothing to do with you. (If you are a descendant of slaves.) There really is no physical or societal harm from bi-racial people forming their own classification in America.

I specifically said African Americans and not black Americans because African Americans are generally what people say to refer to the descendants of slaves. If you really think Egypt had anything to do with people living thousands of miles away on the Western Coast of Africa then I guess you can also tell me that Ancient Greece was built by Norwegians. That is essentially what you're doing. It's still black history but hey I guess what Germany did counts for all of Europe since it's white history, right? Again these terms only come about when talking to black Americans.

Let's not kid ourselves, when someone is mixed with Black, no matter where in this world, they are looked at, as Black. I don't know why, but it's just the way it is. Maybe it's the history, I can't explain.

But at the same time, it's something that you can't deny, has benefited, both mixed and so-called pure Blacks. Cause look at other regions of this Hemisphere, and in all reality, if their Afro descended population would've adopted this way of thought, they would be a lot further than they are.


And now you even see Afro communities in Latin America, coming to the conclusion that they need to adopt the model that we've had in this country.

How do you know where black Americans come from? You don't think some of the people here could have ancestors from ancien Egypt. You want to have it both ways. If we really wanna look back we ALL came from Africa, so we ALL deserve credit for Human achievement.

It's not. I'm not being "mean." I'm being factual. Continents aren't monolithic. People need to lose this idea that Africa is a country. Korea isn't trying to get credit for Russia. India and China clearly have different history. I listed two pairs of neighboring countries on the same continent that have a distinctively different cultures and histories... Why are blacks from West Africa latching on to something on the other side of the continent? Because of skin color?

Not many people that don't follow pop culture know of Stacey Dash, Rashida Jones or Paula Patton. What roles have they done to capture the attention of the masses? Halle Berry is a recognized name in almost all households because she is the first black woman to win an Oscar, not JUST because she is beautiful. Beyonce, Oprah, Michelle Obama, Tyra Banks are all recognizable names in virtually all American households and they are all FULL black women. I understand the point you are trying to make about appearance but you also fail to realize that no one would know of these people had not been for their accomplishments.
