and you would be incorrect.Looks more like a big vs small thing as opposed to white vs black...breh had a bunch of “other” unknown media folks around him in the kiddie corner. They was walking past everyone
Him calling out like some random fan instead of calling their name and maybe trying to ask an interview question probably didn’t help either
You have to talk to anybody you can no matter if you like them or not. Sometimes that helps with traffic to your site too.Gucci walks by: c'mon bruh holla at me!

But on a serious note, you can't complain about black artists ignoring you, while ignoring black artists. Beggars can't be choosers.
and you would be incorrect.
The black media can never grow if they arent allow to. so yes it will always LOOK or SEEM as if its big vs small. its never let the black media get to large vs the big white media that will do any and everything to stay that way even if that means disenfranchise black media.
They intentionally place them towards the end of the carpet a lot of times because everyone knows by that point the celebs will get pulled away by their publicists/pr people about having to go inside for the event/running late etc.
its a big setup to fail.
lets watch Roland martin talk about it. Watch the entire video. Its this guys video an interview with him. rolands panel discussing it and another video of Roland and Kerri Washington talking about it. Do you believe the original video now?
* On a related note, and I will bring this back up the next time it happens.
The Black entertainment outlets love to cry foul when an A list or rising Black celeb snubs them at a red carpet premier. I've said that it's all bullshyt because those sites show NO LOVE to icons from past eras when they're getting their flowers or have projects coming out.
. Legends might not cater to their direct demographic, but still hold significance and influence. You can see multiple current artists who descend from Watley's musical/artistic/fashion tree.
Those blogs and media sites are full of shyt. They want love, but they don't show love.
That fat mf failed the swirl test years ago, so I'm not surprised he snubs black interviewers. Not Quest love![]()
Bruh go-go is an insular and virtually entirely local product, it isn't heard beyond the Greater DC area. It's just like New Orleans bounce, why would you be upset that the faux black media platforms aren't covering it? It's irrelevant outside of DC.DC just commemorated 50 years of Go-Go at the 2026 Go-Go Music Awards
Ceremony celebrating the longevity of a homegrown Black genre of music,
local legends and current stars, and figures from HipHop who helped expand the genre.
These "Black" enterainment platforms sent no reporters, and didnt even report that it took place.
Consistent pattern of them ignoring important events in Black entertainment and having the nerve to complain about being ignored by Black entertainers.
