Looks more like a big vs small thing as opposed to white vs black...breh had a bunch of “other” unknown media folks around him in the kiddie corner. They was walking past everyone

Him calling out like some random fan instead of calling their name and maybe trying to ask an interview question probably didn’t help either

He ain’t call for Lil Nas X :mjlol:
Gucci walks by: c'mon bruh holla at me!
Quavo walks by: Do it for the hood cuh!
Lil nas walks by: ...

:dead:

But on a serious note, you can't complain about black artists ignoring you, while ignoring black artists. Beggars can't be choosers.

and you would be incorrect.

The black media can never grow if they arent allow to. so yes it will always LOOK or SEEM as if its big vs small. its never let the black media get to large vs the big white media that will do any and everything to stay that way even if that means disenfranchise black media.

They intentionally place them towards the end of the carpet a lot of times because everyone knows by that point the celebs will get pulled away by their publicists/pr people about having to go inside for the event/running late etc.

its a big setup to fail.

lets watch Roland martin talk about it. Watch the entire video. Its this guys video an interview with him. rolands panel discussing it and another video of Roland and Kerri Washington talking about it. Do you believe the original video now?

You have to talk to anybody you can no matter if you like them or not. Sometimes that helps with traffic to your site too.

Roland's comments didn't directly refute what Dora wrote or what others have expressed. Larger Black media outlets had better access to those stars.
There is no bigger advocate for Black media than Roland Martin, BUT he discusses and calls out the micro and macro issues. Here is an old post with a video of Roland talking about the miststeps and mistakes Black media heads have made. Inability to adapt to realities and limitations.

If the head of Blacktree media privately consults with RM, I'd bet he'd make suggestions that go beyond the public callout of Black celebs who gave him the stiffarm
