considering the costs of purchasing a new local, moving, loosing employees and customers ect, 3 mill isnt enough.
I came to say this...Maybe he can stay....figure out a way to keep his restaurant on the bottom level while they build the condo on top of him in the new building. He pays ZERO rent/charges while they upgrade and maybe even let him keep a food truck or something when they do need to tear it down to finish the construction?
EVERYONE has a price and America is a capitalistic country. In this case HE OWNS, so he won't get screwed like so many others if they finally give him an offer he can't refuse.

THISThe point of owning a business is to make money...hope he’s making more than 3 mil in owning that spot, otherwise sell, and open another with plenty of cash in the bank...your customers will follow and you got cash and a business to pass down m

at some point that clientele will dwindle down if you are not bringing in new clients his best bet is to sell for a high priceIf you got a clientele you built over 50 years and your building is paid off that. Is ain’t going no where.
I don’t think this was a biz move for him I think he’s just not for the gentrification.
