every culture that has adopted a religion that didn't start among their own people has changed the way the messianic or touchstone figures look (and well beyond that, of course, but for the sake of this particular topic, we'll stick to aesthetics)

Does the truth matter? Any answer besides yes is why it matters. So called "Jesus" was the messiah born of HIS people, he is bringing salvation to his people. If it didn't matter then they wouldn't hang that picture of him up in the first place.

There are also plenty who know, go to an elderly black family and they'll have pictures of him with dreadlocks and afros. My grandmother had a Yahusha picture along with Egyptian art work.
