I had someone tell me that he and his wife have been attending a mixed church that only has the well known image of Jesus as a white guy. He said he told his wife about the discomfort and she was like "it doesn't really matter what color Jesus is cause you keep Jesus in your heart and mind".

It matters because according to the Bible the Jews (as well as Jesus) were described as black. This picture is biblically accurate (Rev 1:14, Dan 10:6)
