The link has been posted multiple times that there was no evidence of broken limbs - DSU Student Found Hanging in Tree, No Foul Play Suspected
This was in response to an unvetted social media post of someone claiming to be a relative and then claiming another relative told him that she saw the reports that alleged he was beaten, leaving him with broken arms and a broken leg.
Now the choice of words here is relevant because this person claiming to be a cousin who was told by another cousin that she saw [medical] reports that he had suffered these injuries. How did this cousin get access to the report when the investigation is still ongoing? Why does this report that the cousin is claiming they saw run contrary to what the coroner said?
Now, that's not to say there's no possibility of a coverup, but if there was, they would hardly come out and rule there was no foul play involved, countering claims of the young breh suffering these injuries if this report had already been leaked. If the family had already seen the report, law enforcement wouldn't be saying a damn thing until they got all their ducks in a row. If there was a coverup, best believe they'd do everything in their power to make sure this didn't leak in the first place.
If these are indeed his actual relatives, unfortunately, it just sounds like they can't come to terms he took his own life and made up a story to rationalize his death.

I'm sick of y'all who keep gaslighting with this inability to acknowledge when young brehs lose the fight with their own mental demons.
All the evidence that we know so far indicates he took his own life, why is it so hard to entertain the possibility of that and speak about it, rather than completely dismissing it as if it's a fabricated? Did you even bother to read through the thread properly or did you just come storming in here with some preconceived notion of what you think happened?
How are brehs supposed to feel mentally-safe enough where they can reach out for help with the type of attitude you have towards this tragic story?

Only thing I see posted in this thread and from searching online myself is that a deputy coroner said based on the preliminary investigation (while he was being removed from the tree) that there didn't appear to be any lacerations, contusions or broken bones that he could see. No medical reports have been publicly released and no autopsy had been performed yet. Nobody has proven that the gay kid isn't the deceased's cousin or that he didn't hear what he repeated from another cousin either, I'm not saying they 100% are relatives but I havent seen any evidence to disprove that they are.

The tag violation, a sore spot because of Price's alleged history of tag violations, was admitted by Price; the arson charge was denied by Price and dropped. Price then sued Roark in state court for false arrest and malicious prosecution, claiming a violation of his Fourth Amendment rights. The case was removed to federal court where the district judge denied Roark's claim of qualified immunity from this suit. We reverse and hold that because the arrest itself was valid based on the license tag violation, the alleged Fourth Amendment false arrest claim resting only on the charge of arson fails. Because the malicious prosecution claim, which is based on the arson charge, depends on a Fourth Amendment violation, and because Price suffered no violation of his Fourth Amendment rights as a result of his arrest or otherwise, that claim also fails. Roark is therefore entitled to qualified immunity and to have the claims against him dismissed because Price has failed to show any evidence that would establish the violation of a constitutional right."
TLDR: Roark made an arrest due to a license tag violation which the suspect admitted to. The suspect, however, contested the further charge of arson and tried to claim violation of his Fourth Amendment rights. The bold shows that it was ruled the suspect suffered no violation of his rights (as a result of his arrest or otherwise) and the claim fails.
The appeal failed and the claims were dismissed.

There's absolutely nothing here that would even remotely suggest this cop has a history of covering up crimes. Furthermore, his colleague, Deputy Coroner Dwayne Proctor helped him assist in examining the body too.
