...if a female shouts out "damn baby!" to another female that's still harassment...or, if a female yells it out to a male.

...but is it REALLY, DOE??

It's only "harrassment" if (1) it makes you uncomfortable, and (2) it is persistent.

This isn't about talking to women, breh :heh:

This is a much bigger issue. With racism and freedom of speech at hand.
That particular video...I agree...they edited all white dudes out of it. That's fukked up.

Catcalling exists beyond this video. This video draws attention to it (although not in a responsible way because all of the men are minorities - and not because there weren't white men who behaved the same, but because the editor chose to edit them out).

I'm speaking about catcalling in general...regardless of gender or race, it's disrespectful behavior and harassment.

An issue, you can't seem to expand upon.

There is a serious problem in which men think they have the right to socially dominate women they don't know.

Not to dominate, but to get on an even playing field where neither party feels unfulfilled. If this does come to law, imagine all the fukkery that these cops have to deal with.

I'd feel uncomfortable if a female did it.

Some females may not feel uncomfortable and might welcome it. The point is, every female is different...and while one may like it, the other might find it offensive. You have to be able to read cues.

I agree it shouldn't really be a law.

However, this shows how men, don't act like men and respect others boundaries. No one stepping up for the sister being called a bytch by a bunch of fukk nikkas she logically wouldn't give attention to.

It's telling that the government essential steps in and needs to teach men how to act by fukking with their personal freedoms.

I can even see why you feel this way...however, as you say, every female is different. Legislation would render that inconsequential.

And, you mentioned that if a female said that to a man it's also harrassment. I venture to say most men would not mind.

I also agree you have to read cues...however, you don't have time to assess cues for the limited window of time you encounter
this person...which is a major reason I myself am not a fan of the (again, for lack of a better term lol) "public holla".

I'm not talking about legislation. I'm just saying that it's rude behavior. I don't think it's a punishable crime.

Most men won't mind...well, some might. I'm not going to make that decision for these men....just like men shouldn't make the decision for women and assume that all of them "like the attention." Just be respectful, period.

Exactly...that's why, as you put it "a public holla" is not a good idea...walking up to a female you're interested in, speaking to her politely...is a much better approach.

This dumbass broad is feeling herself way too much.

I am all for woman's rights and pure equality but this shyt is really starting to piss me off

:scust:
Pure equality will never work in this country, roles have existed forever for good reason. Our millions of laws have been designed this way and now the system is completely broken.

The sooner we realize this the better

At the end of it all, what's the solution? We ban street interaction and anyone who violates that law is subject to a fine or imprisonment? Listen. I don't know what we could do either, I'm at a loss. But if we were to ever go that route, it'd be chaos. Can you imagine getting locked up by asking a lady for directions and you were genuinely lost? It wouldn't stop at the sidewalk either, it'd carry over into anywhere public, and there goes the dating scene. Or, we all go digital and go catfishing.

Look. It all comes down to people just not giving a fukk. When you're a kid, they teach you morals, but not everyone grows up with them. They teach you to not to swear, but we do it anyway. They teach you not to drink and do drugs, but we do it anyway. And they teach you to not be rude, but obviously, we do it anyway. People are people, you think they care if you pull them to the side and explain how you're objectifying her? A lot of them may not, and if you try playing superhero in the streets, you may wind up with more problems on your hands.

This isn't a real problem. The Men's Rights Activist and MGTOW are influencing more and more men and women so as a way to combat their reach there has been a recent uptick in the promotion of feminism and attacks of anyone who even remotely challenges it. Feminism at least in it's overt form is losing it's grip on the psyche of America.

:ohhh:Amanda was a rude b** from the jump

Anyway, I think this just another example of women not knowing what the hell they want. Females want a man to approach them (instead of the other way around) but get mad when the dude they want doesn't notice them. At the same time saying "hey, beautiful", "smile", etc. is harassment and we shouldn't do that. :upsetfavre: I understand that some dudes go a little too far with their mouth and I also realize shyt's alot more different in NYC than here in Texas but to even consider passing a law that says "men can't speak to a woman they're interested in" is just stupid.. Feel a lil pity for you New York brehs stay strong:mjcry:

Edit: Also seems like it's only a problem when ugly mufucckkaz do it
