yeah there's plenty of US military around there...it's Itaewon btw. I spent time around Busan and south of there in the outlying islands where expats are more rare.

I experienced some outright racism once at a bar in Busan. I was with my two coworkers who are Asian. We walked in and were stopped by the host. He asked what did we want. I told him...Hof (what they call beer) and made the drinking gesture. He looked back at an older man who gave the :whoa:. The host smiled and said sorry, we're all full. The place was clearly empty. I wanted to knock all the beers and glasses off the bar as we walked out....but I kept my cool.

I was just about to say I've heard stories about Busan. They don't like foreigners in general. That's where the bases are at. My homie, who's british almost got his ass kicked by some bouncers and he didn't even say anything. He also got denied into a club once. I was like :ohhh:

I've never been to Busan I've heard too many negative things about the place, and I tend to stay away from military spots, like I would never go to Okinawa I'm sure americans have left seeds there and ruined families lol. Im going where they dont know anything about foreigners and setting examples and shyt.

Itaewon is cool tho. I've been there twice, I stay over at the rainbow hotel, which is a cheap ass love motel. :pachaha: Koreans over there luh me. I go into a bar they quick with it.

trying to compare western bodies to asian bodies, is like trying to compare black mens body to european bodies.

you just can't do that. they're just shaped different. asian women are very soft and feminine. smooth skin, thin, tone, delicate. it's an acquired taste. they're not built like sexual man eating twerk freaks (even tho they may actually be freaks/man eaters). if you're looking for that build, go to brazil.

My girl comes from a non-demonic family and she is chinese, born and for a third of her life. I am literally part of the family and have a family title. It all depends on if the family has a demonic lineage or not.

Out of 2 siblings and 6 girls im giving them their 7th grandchild, a son.

b careful in some of those spots in korea (asia in general too). alotta the bars are fronts or controlled by mobs. b4 u kno it, u'll have like 10 bouncers on u. good thing u kept ur cool. i met alotta bouncers n security in korea, and a good # of them were ex cons from LA and NY that got deported for felonies, or fled the country for murders and hot ones. def not the type of ppl u wanna tangle wid.

Great thread Tommy Knocks

I think I'd like to see Chengdu and Shanghai based on what you wrote.

I've never given Korea a chance. I've been to Japan a few times and once the 90 days were up, I went to either Hong Kong or Bangkok before returning to Japan (yes, it was more expensive, but I figured it was the better trip).

Why am I the first to mention Japan in this thread btw. You don't have time to head over there?

Also, how is the J-hatred by the Chinese locals?

*reads thread title*

My girl fam immigrated from china and they hate the japanese because of what they did to them during the war. My girl has a grandmother who she has a photo with who was tortured and beaten by them and had her arm cut off after they interrogated her for information. Its so demonic, friend.

again, it's not about race, you're thinking of things too technical which isn't your fault you were programmed this way.

the family might have a problem with it, not because of race, but because you're a foreigner. you're an alien, you're not from china, you're from another planet. some parents may think it's wrong. others might not care at all. it all matters. both of my ex's parents were coo with me, they always asked her if she saw herself marrying me, how far was it going to go blah blah. one of their moms would come over bringing fruits and food. their dad bringing cigs and beer.

you can just generalize, its all up to that individual and that individuals family.

do I just accept racism. what would you consider racism? I have never been denied access into facility, nor have I had anyone look at me in disgust, on the contrary I have had both men and women call me beautiful which is real weird coming from drunken chinese men buying me beers with their arms around me. I get "handsum brack man" often. I also get "why you look so different for black man, not african?" they can sort of tell im not from africa and must be a black westerner. anyways. different culture deal with things differently.

places like beijing tho, you might see some racism fo sho, same with guangzhou, in fact for sure you're going to get into some shyt in guangzhou as a black man. you'll have cops on that ass, asking for ID errrwhere.

theres a cinema in the mall attached to my apartment complex.

3D cinemax and all that. I don't get all the movies, but I get the 'top' blockbusters out for the month. my movie theater is solid.

I'm going to Japan for the first time in June. Very excited. :blessed:

the chinese openly hate and despise the japanese. I once went to a club and the japanese flag was a HUGE doormat, so while you were waiting in line to get in and searched, you could wipe your feet on the flag. one of these days remind me to post a picture of it, its on my phone some where.

never say you love japanese people, never say any of them look japanese, don't even think about wearing a japanese flag. I mean the hatred is like no other I have ever seen. there have been a handful of riots where the chinese started smashing up japanese cars and looting japanese stores. ive seen it first hand

:umad: they mad

But, good thing you'll be heading out to Japan. You mentioned in this thread earlier you prefer China cuz it does more of its own thing (whereas Japan does a lot of stuff in the US footsteps), but I think you could fall in love with Japan if you don't blow all your money first. Tokyo is where the business and craziness is at. Or head to Osaka/Kyoto area if you want to hang with friendlier people.
