I don't know how much they make, but they are employees of each individual state. Most states have a Department of Natural Resources that employ Game Wardens. They are like the police of hunting and fishing.
So a "no swimming" sign and a "not for guests" sign isn't enough? I don't recall there being a "no climbing" sign. I don't recall there being a "falling risk" sign.

Yeah, spend thousands of dollars to go to Disney World and dont see any of the award winning firework shows. If you are going to keep the kid on his natural sleep schedule you might as well not even take him! If there is any place in the world where it would be ok for a 2 year old to be up at that time of night its Disney World.
Also keep in mind, in a lot of cases the 2 year old isnt the only child. In this case the two year old had an older sister.

1. You got it backwords. There was no imminent danger at the zoo. It's supposed to be a safe place. The parent just took their eye off the kid for a second. In Florida there was imminent danger, and there were signs saying that you shouldn't swim where they were at. The parents ignored the signs and the danger and still let their 2 year old roam free.
