Peckham is still very black there are a few spots for hipsters but imo it's still behind in terms of gentrification

Surprise surprise. Ain't that the ultimate irony? She dedicates her life to helping black people, specifically black men, only to end up getting gunned down by one over violence in the black community :francis:

And if this young brother that shot her were to die from the hands of police she would've been out there marching for his reckless violent ass and his mother would be up on TV talking about "he was a good kid, he liked to eat."

A damn fukking shame. But of course, it'll be "racist" and "c00n like" to say that gun violence/gang violence in the black community is a much much bigger problem than isolated police shootings that the media and BLM eats up. Yeah, yeah I know... One incident receives more justice than the other, we know :comeon:

And like clockwork, first thing we do is act oblivious like we had no idea it could've been a black man. Like first thing nikkas do is pretend it's some miscellaneous Chinese or Indian guy, literally the 0.004-something % of men who ever be involved in shyt like this, cuz it just couldn't possibly be a black man, right? Especially cuz it's London, right? But the women on LSA are wrong for being upset that black men are continuing to disappoint and fall short in situations like this?

The real c00ns are y'all who don't get upset or embarrassed that it's another brotha again on the news for some reckless bullshyt in these inner cities. I for sure am. I'm tired of us being the face of inner city violence and crime in general. It makes it hard for nonviolent noncriminal black men such as myself and most of us to get anywhere in life without struggle. We face discrimination in all areas of life cuz people (not just white) would rather not deal with us at all. It's not solely always cuz of our skin color, but what it represents. The bad reputation that we proudly wear and rep as a badge of honor in our culture. Good luck finding better schools, neighborhoods and resources for you and your family when every single day it's as if black men are out to destroy any good reputation we have or had. I wouldn't blame that sista if she never protests or continues her activism again. nikkas really don't deserve it.

But let's get mad at people like Kevin Samuels for saying black men need to change their image. Let's get mad at Obama for saying black men need to stop being absent fathers. Get mad at Cosby for telling black men to pull they pants up. Get mad at Boosie for saying we kill our own more than anybody. Get mad at police when they're the first and only people you would call in case of an emergency when black men like this are terrorizing our neighborhoods. Get mad at anybody that points out the truth on how far behind our community really is towards any real progress. But I guess we gonna blame poverty and systemic racism again cuz this problem couldn't definitely be our own to fix right?
