And like clockwork, first thing we do is act oblivious like we had no idea it could've been a black man. Like first thing nikkas do is pretend it's some miscellaneous Chinese or Indian guy, literally the 0.004-something % of men who ever be involved in shyt like this, cuz it just couldn't possibly be a black man, right? Especially cuz it's London, right? But the women on LSA are wrong for being upset that black men are continuing to disappoint and fall short in situations like this?
The real c00ns are y'all who don't get upset or embarrassed that it's another brotha again on the news for some reckless bullshyt in these inner cities. I for sure am. I'm tired of us being the face of inner city violence and crime in general. It makes it hard for nonviolent noncriminal black men such as myself and most of us to get anywhere in life without struggle. We face discrimination in all areas of life cuz people (not just white) would rather not deal with us at all. It's not solely always cuz of our skin color, but what it represents. The bad reputation that we proudly wear and rep as a badge of honor in our culture. Good luck finding better schools, neighborhoods and resources for you and your family when every single day it's as if black men are out to destroy any good reputation we have or had. I wouldn't blame that sista if she never protests or continues her activism again. nikkas really don't deserve it.
But let's get mad at people like Kevin Samuels for saying black men need to change their image. Let's get mad at Obama for saying black men need to stop being absent fathers. Get mad at Cosby for telling black men to pull they pants up. Get mad at Boosie for saying we kill our own more than anybody. Get mad at police when they're the first and only people you would call in case of an emergency when black men like this are terrorizing our neighborhoods. Get mad at anybody that points out the truth on how far behind our community really is towards any real progress. But I guess we gonna blame poverty and systemic racism again cuz this problem couldn't definitely be our own to fix right?
I think you are bit loony in the head. People stated that it was a Black man before any information was out on this. And I haven't see make anyone the association with Chinese or East Indians, but for sure the are involved in crimes. Just different crimes.
The remainder part of you was all over the place and just babble, since I never stated anything negative about Kevin Samuels or Obama (except) for his LGBTQ support). The few Black men who do these things do not represent the vast majority of Black men.
In order to understand the history of absent fathers you have to understand the history of false incarcerations. Close to 50% of Black men is exonerated and most do extensive lone time in jail before being exonerated. And out of wedlock doesn't mean the father is absent, it means the the child was procreated before marriage.
"Since 1989, more than 1,800 defendants have been cleared in “group exonerations” that followed 15 large-scale police scandals in which officers systematically framed innocent defendants. The overwhelming majority were African-American defendants framed for drug crimes that never occurred."
African-Americans More Likely to be Wrongfully Convicted | Research at Michigan State University
”RACE AND WRONGFUL CONVICTIONS IN THE UNITED STATES”
"African Americans are more frequently stopped, searched, arrested, and convicted—including in cases in which they are innocent. The extreme form of this practice is systematic racial profiling in drug-law enforcement.pp. 20-21"

The amount of false arrests and killings of unarmed Black people (in particularly Black men) increased drastically during the years of he Obama administration.
There have been 900.000 false arrested black lives that were made between 2007 and 2015 by NYPD, but Obama was right? Or the 50% of exonerated black lives, because of false incarceration, as shown above and below? Or the almost 90% of clearances of black lives in FBI stats?
New York City to Pay Up to $75 Million Over Dismissed Summonses (Published 2017)
“Examining the individual cases revealed that cleared murders were disproportionately more likely to be barred to prosecution if they involved African-American victims or occurred in police districts on the crime-plagued South Side of the city. Closing cases this way not only boosts an agency’s clearance rate, but also means that prosecutors don’t handle as many of the tougher cases that can take a toll on their conviction rates.
“Data recorded in the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program show just how widely clearance rates vary across larger police departments. Of the 100 cities reporting the most murders in 2013, 11 cleared less than a quarter of their cases. Meanwhile, eight departments registered clearance rates of 90 percent or more. The national murder clearance rate was 64 percent for 2013.
One statistical complication is that the FBI counts clearances for crimes committed in previous years as part of current-year statistics, while prior annual rates aren’t revised. This is why Fayetteville, N.C., and several smaller departments actually recorded murder clearance rates higher than 100 percent for 2013.”

The prison to pipeline system data by race is out there, so they start young with Black boys, systemically putting Black men in their system, but we are supposed to let this slide, right weak ass punk!?

• The best national evidence on drug use shows that African Americans and whites use illegal drugs at about the same rate. Nonetheless, African Americans are about five times as likely to go to prison for drug possession as whites—and judging from exonerations,
innocent black people are about 12 times more likely to be convicted of drug crimes than innocent white people. pp.16-17
• In general, very few ordinary, low-level drug convictions result in exoneration, regardless of innocence, because the stakes are too low. In Harris County, Texas, however, there have been 133 exonerations in ordinary drug possession cases in the last few years. These are cases in which defendants pled guilty, and were exonerated after routine lab tests showed they were not carrying illegal drugs.
Sixty-two percent of the Harris County drug-crime guilty plea exonerees were African American in a county with 20% black residents.

"African Americans are far more likely to be wrongfully convicted of murder, sexual assault, or a drug offense than their white counterparts, according to a reportreleased Tuesday by the National Registry of Exonerations."
[...]
"While African Americans comprise just 13% of the population in the US, they account for nearly half of the 1,900 exonerations listed in the registry as of October 2016. (Since October the registry’s number has risen to 2000 known exonerations.)"

"A second report released Tuesday authored by Gross points to the apparent racial disparity in wrongful convictions. Gross’s analysis found that almost half of the exonerations in the national database are black defendants, compared with 39% who are white."
