All I was saying is that I understood what they were trying to compare, because that would have to be the initial argument before going off the deep end and saying that slaves had more privilege than non-slaves.

And this is what I don't understand.

Since you want to argue in intersectionality, there is a difference between "womanhood" and "white womanhood".

Make no mistake, their comparison was "white womanhood" (or white victimhood) to chattel slavery.

Why? Because white women are the ones "centered" in discussion of womanhood. They are the only ones deemed to have "humanity".

Which is why you were left guessing about the status of black female slaves.

White womanhood is a beneficiary of white manhood. The comparison to chattel or even to "womanhood" does not work at all.

You seem to have understood my initial post...

So I don't see what the hang up is.

I've said numerous times that I don't agree with the argument and consider it invalid, but I understand what they were trying to say. Nevertheless, I disagree and consider it invalid.

It’s no such thing as male privilege period and a slave surly didn’t have any privilege over a free white Woman.
What privilege do you get as a man that is universal?
Priveledge to spend your life working to provide for children and women who reframe your work as oppression.

Priveledge to get drafted into a war and killed fighting for the intrests of rich people.

Privilege of harsher jail sentences to staff the modern slavery system in american prisons

Male privledge is something birdbrains hoes came up with their own without things that disrupt the narrative like facts or history. They wanna frame men's life without any input from males :mjlol: Historically the average man was a serf who's life work benefitted high society members and his family on a lesser extent

The only reason males had the little agency they did get is because of their willingness to kill if shyt didnt go right. Thats why men are a danger to the status quo. Because oppressors always had to be wary of overplaying their hand and getting killed for it like ghadaffi

Bingo. To the point that over here (in France) white feminists talks all the time about their freedom to do what they please with their body and how they dress...but when it's Muslim women who choose to wear a veil all of a sudden all that freedom to chose goes out of the window. Couple years ago there was this whole burkini thing over here, and mainstream feminists were quiet as hell when men were telling women how they should dress. Or having non-mixed discussion groups of women is ok, but non-mixed discussion groups of BLACK women is not. Why? Because in the first white women will still be at the center of attention, but not in the second.

That's what some call "femonationalism" : basically using "feminism" to once again impose one way (the white/western way) of being a woman. The white/western way, obviously. And saying that the West has to "save" non-white women from their savage fathers, husbands and brothers. Fortunately I've read/heard enough black and arab feminists who see clearly in all that bs and clearly distance themselves from this type of "feminism".

London baby.
The thread said white women wrote this shyt in their book.

Basically what was done in the dark is coming to light and white women don’t wanna be lynched next to white men so they’re jumping ship from now.

A lot of people don’t realise that the woman takes on the status of the man.

The man’s status, regardless of his race, does not change based on who he marries/impregnates.

In those days, black house maids were just as dangerous to black men as white women, and if we look at society today you’ll notice that the loudest black feminists are usually laid up with white men & pushing the Womanhood agenda with white women as their allies.

A black man could be a billionaire, married to a black woman for 50 years, yet in this Eurocentric society, he is still a black man and will be treated as such.

There is no black male privilege, only perception.

The only “power” black men have ever had in society is Pride. Everything else is relative. Women throw nikkas under the bus every time they wanna hold white men accountable for some shyt they did but are too shook to call em out.

Men have historically had more agency than women. Pretty sure that's a fact. If we're talking about now then I'd say there's none.

You don’t get privilege based on being a man alone. In our society being white gives you privilege being rich gives your privilege being apart of a group that has power gives you privilege.

This is why we need articles and studies that combat the black male privilge b.s. cause even tho it should be obvious that it is an oxymoron, people are actually getting tricked into believing it.

I hate the word privilege, but an argument could even be made (why am I going down this rabbit hole) , that women had it better than the males. The women were needed to bare offspring and while everybody was doing back breaking work and getting they ass beat, I am sure the brutality was a bit more intense on the males...especially if you had a sadistic slave driver.....

it's all nonsense... slavery was epic levels of evil and anyone of these birdbrains were to go back to that time period would have a change in their speech real quic.
