-driver admits it isn't his car; claims he's test-driving
-driver refuses to show them paper that could have quickly resolved the situation
-driver refuses to exit car upon being told to do so

The truth is cops can do whatever they want. Its up to a judge or a jury to decide if its legal or not after the fact.

And anybody who has had to deal with the Law, knows Its a long drawn out process. You'll be basically In & Out of court for something that can be wrapped up in a day..

Never had a problem with Cobb County cops knock on wood. I did manage to get 3 tickets(2 by one officer and 1 by another) in Kennesaw in the span of 30 minutes about 3-4 years ago. Be a 21 year old black kid with a loud Corvette in Kennesaw brehs.

Kennesaw is in Cobb. I got a ticket THREE days in a row once.



I hope this man plans to sue.

LOL..put myself in his shoes...like I haven't been harassed by the cops multiple times. Esp in my younger days.

Showing the papers could've avoided all of this, if the cops were really out to get him they wouldn't of even asked to see them. Its ok though, he made the Coli happy and now has to deal with something being drawn out and missing time from family and work + added stress.

Yup..some people on here don't understand that though. Its a long drawn out process that takes months to get resolve. When I got in trouble 3 yrs ago There were days where I had to take off from work just to spend 2 hours in court, but my case took 10 minutes just to have it rescheduled. My case didn't get resolved for almost a year and within that time I went to court probably 10+ times.


Anybody who has had to go through/deal with the courts would want to avoid it at all cost.
