Also for those of you who have degrees look into SCRUM and project management. It's simple shyt you can learn in a few weeks and be making 6 figures. However be prepared to be doing a lot of pointless shyt and in meetings all the time.
I am in this shyt at the moment, it's not easy but it's not close to hard either. Your organization skills gotta be A1.

I'm interested in this. Thinking about getting the CSM cert, but those study classes cost a grip

Also want to say to the brehs out there. You don't just need cybersecurity to make 6 figures.

Its other fields such as Engineering (Manufacturing, systems, electrical and quality) all making 6 figures. Also if you know SAP you can make 6 figures too. There are kats like MPMs (material program managers) who are parts and schedule folks who make 6 figures. Cause they know how to pull reports, work with suppliers and pull data out of SAP.

If you know SAP well you can easily make 6 figures.

Nikkaz been home for like 4 months could have mastered literally anything in that time if they just spent two hours a day

FACTS! I seen people going against this on social media talmbout, "Don't let people make you feel like a failure. These are tough times, use it to heal. blah blah blah."

I'm like look, if you're going through a lot definitely take the time. But MOST of these nikkas are "bored in the house and they're in the house bored."

Is it oochie wally wally or is it one mic? :dahell:

I really hate excuse making and victim culture. If you not using this time to better yourself then you were never going to.

Prior to COVID, I was dragging my feet converting all of my websites over to Thrive Themes. To get good at it, without the time cost, I set aside an hour or two every day to create a template of a website I found randomly in Google. I showed off a few of them in the private TT forum and everybody and their mom started hitting me up for work to make a template for their site. For the last month and a half, I've had a minimum of one job a week @ $500 a pop. About three weeks back, I had 8 in one week.

What's sad is that the creators produce so much free content, in the form of video tutorials and support, but most of the people who've contacted me don't take advantage of it.

Great work though. Very inspirational:salute:

I hope he got money for private high school

This is why America is the land of opportunity.

This is just the truth. Despite its inequalities and shortcomings, there are few other countries I'd want to actually grind in.

Yeah, it's going to primarily experienced devs who want to add the extra skillset. If you want to get in cloud, get a degree.
Broski, you need to chill with giving advice in this thread, you sound like you're still getting over a fresh bad breakup that's really a decade old..

Maybe this game just ain't for you.. truth be told, it's not for everyone, and MOST of the people who come into this thinking it's easy bread without putting in the work, will get stuck resetting passwords, but for the brehs with some grind in them there are real lifestyle changes out there to be had if you can just focus.

NO! You don't need a degree to crack 6 figs
NO! You don't need a degree to get into cloud
NO! It's not that hard to get into this field; However, how far up the ladder you make it depends entirely upon you and how much you're willing to sacrifice; bar a minute few things that are out of your control.

Chill with the defeatist fukkshyt, don't discourage or set mental hurdles for people who don't know the game as everyone isn't built the same. What's a mountain for you, may be an anthill for the next breh.. let them eat, if they fail, at least they were allowed the opportunity to.

You not only did not read all my posts, you made up your own narratives and attacked based on those. Try to keep it constructive.

Getting into IT is harder than people let on and it's going to be hard to advance beyond helpdesk. When I refer to IT, I'm referring to specializing in something beyond help desk.

I recommend a degree because it provides greater backing than certs and the amount of work and time to get to the levels usually mentioned, you will have to put in years, not months of work.

My intent is not to be a wet blanket and crush folks dreams. I had to provide some context as someone who has gone down the path that people here talk about and had many struggles. It's not necessarily this happy path as folks with their anecdotal success stories suggest. Folks need to hear the other side as well and know what they're getting in to.

And while you don't need a degree to do what you mentioned, the degree helps getting past that help desk barrier more efficiently.
