YupYep, same thing with network engineering. You do not need to go to college for it, just study and get experience. Then keep looking for opportunities to get more senior positions.
If you know basic OS and hardware..skip A+So you just got the security+ cert and that's it? No prior pro computer skills or experience, A+ , etc ?
If you are open to moving you can get bread out here, eapecialy goct said if you get the clearance.I'm currently trying to get out my entry level web dev job to a higher paid one I relate to bro
Covid fukked me up mane![]()
Yeah, just sec+. You will start out on help desk. It’s not as complicated as you think. Just focus on getting that first job.So you just got the security+ cert and that's it? No prior pro computer skills or experience, A+ , etc ?
I got a degree in it getting high honors. It was a lot of work. It's a skilled based field, you gotta grind like crazy. One of the biggest blessings for me is I been in all levels of IT. From making pennies and getting paid more at Belk's, to working for 10 dollars an hour in DC to eventually doing well and having a shyt ton of mastery in the field and respect globally from my peers. IT is where it is for Black folks. Nothing else comes close but they treat you like a foreigner in this field. Cacs get a cushy life, we gotta grind like a bytch.Cybersecurity is where it's at
It takes way more than two hours a day for mastery. I am on this new grind and between work hours and grind hours, I spend 18 hours a day just killing shyt. Reading anything I can get my hands. Listening to shyt. Recording shyt. Just grinding. Mastery is a skill gained by hard work, will, and talent.Nikkaz been home for like 4 months could have mastered literally anything in that time if they just spent two hours a day
You went to a T14 school, I ain't gonna let you shyt on yourself like that when you got those credentials but there is a reason Nigerians are moving away from law in record number. Law is a rich Jewish man's world like economics. You just hope you earn a spot by luck because shyt ain't given to Blacks who don't go to top tier HBCUs on any level. I advise any computer savvy nikka to get into IT. I was in banking when I first started, them crackas ran me out as if they had a noose.I should have did IT instead of spending 200k on a law degree

IT is really one of the most difficult fields to break into. You really gotta be crafty. My homie from Memphis who used to be run shyt there put me on the game how shyt really is in this industry. It's all about skills. Blacks can't play the same IT game as cacs do but we can get just as far in a shorter amount of time as well. You just gotta be crafty.Yeah this is a real thing as well. It’s not enough to get a degree or cert. Its not an automatic ticket, but it definitely helps.
