The system is fukking targeting Black men and boys.

We have the highest incarceration rate, homicide rate, and unemployment rate. We should be voting the most to get these crackas off our backs.

Then who would we vote for?

It’s not because we don’t vote, it’s because we don’t put money in politicians’ pockets.

I put plenty of money on Obama's first campaign. Attended fundraisers and just randomly gave on my own and encouraged others to do so. Bought over-priced t shirts. I maxxed out , as did my man and my mother.

Could it be when you do have a job and arent in jail,or being shot by police, Not a damn thing is different for most whether Democrats or republicans are in office? I cant even knock the Dems when I realize alot of the info they get is from black people. Dont get me wrong,the views of an "out of touch" black person isnt neccessarily invalid. But education/success doesnt give you authority to speak/think on behalf of less educated/less succesful black people. But this is a pattern for educated boule/elders and white liberals

OP 90% of Dems and like 50-60% of Rs want Universal Healthcare. Why doesn't anyone run on that? Especially a Dem? If pols actually catered to voters it would have happened by now. But they don't, they cater to their donors. Voting isn't the power play you think it is.

Black voter turnout can obviously be better. That's not not the bottleneck to this whole Democrat vs Republican battle though.

The main problem is the majority of people in that state are voting for a side that is constantly making their lives more difficult (Republicans).

The only thing those conservative politicians want is to get into office so they can live like royalty and run up the bill then give the people the bill.

Black vote turnout is a big problem don't get me wrong, but an even bigger problem are the dumbass people voting who make the lives more difficult for everybody, including themselves. Every single one of those Black, Latino, LGBT, etc. voters can show up and they'd still be outnumbered in that state.

Black, Latino, etc. voters by voting Democrat are actually trying to save White people with bad voting decisions actually. That's the funny thing here.

Basically, there's a stupidity problem. When stupidity has numbers that's when it gets really bad.

I attended fundraisers, obviously put together by orgs and PACs. I've given to local politicians in the past tho not currently.

Our money is irrelevant. In my city alone, local pols are being funded by real estate interests. Regular ppl can't compete with that.

Citizens United was the straw that finally broke our democratic republic.
