It’s not because we don’t vote, it’s because we don’t put money in politicians’ pockets.

In my single days, I was fukking with this chick off Tinder who worked for a Democrat PAC; her main gripe was that trying to get Black men to vote was a complete waste of time and resources. To paraphrase, "It doesn't matter what we do or say, there's nothing we can do to make Lil' Pookie go vote." :francis:

She had some fire box, but she had a weird vocal inflection so I stopped talking to her.

what happens when Black men vote for who they actually want

as a people we cant stand men thinking differently than our female counterparts...
which is why politicians and corporations lean on black women.
easier to control

Every time I watch that video, I feel more and more sad for that young man. 3 generations of Black Gynocracy females. His mom feverishly yelling at him because he made a grown #BothSides Black man decision, his grandma with her disappointed tone and his younger sister demonically laughing at him.

It’s become beyond :demonic:, friends.

Dont forget this one @HarlemHottie

"The key is figuring out the reasons for their choices and persuading them to change their minds.

“What they’re doing is consciously choosing to stay away from elections,” said W. Mondale Robinson, who founded the Black Male Voter Project in 2015, adding that little progress has been made in addressing many of the issues affecting the lives of Black men.

“It’s not a problem created by Stacey Abrams. It’s not a political phenomenon,” Robinson said. “We haven’t seen a decrease in the number of Black men killed by police. Black men are still unemployed at twice the rate of others, and those who are arrested and can’t pay cash bails sit in jail even though they haven’t been proven guilty. This is a conscious choice from people who do not see politics addressing their issues.”

Cant forget we dont vote because were upset about never having a job ,and of course being stuck in prison when we go. Or we are tired of black men being shot by police:mjlol:

Could it be when you do have a job and arent in jail,or being shot by police, Not a damn thing is different for most whether Democrats or republicans are in office? I cant even knock the Dems when I realize alot of the info they get is from black people. Dont get me wrong, the views of an "out of touch" black person isnt neccessarily invalid. But education/success doesnt give you authority to speak/think on behalf of less educated/less succesful black people. But this is a pattern for educated boule/elders and white liberals:respect:

The cacs in the Senate and House obstructing him wasn't our fault. Don't let Trump back in again, he's screwed our people up for the next 50 years with his SC picks and Federal/State judges.

The counterargument is: we should have voted Hillary the way we voted Obama.

It starts before you even get to the polls, though. Plenty of successful grassroots campaigns that start that weren't part of the establishment.

It’s not because we don’t vote, it’s because we don’t put money in politicians’ pockets.
Two underrated posts that describe actions that can directly lead to putting people in place to look out for your best interests.

Black people gave Dems a filibuster proof Senate the first two years under Obama and Black Males gained nothing out of it. :mjpls:

We need to learn how the game works. You can't just vote for President and think everything is okay afterwards. You have to vote for the Congress too. Your local elections too.

So it turned out the way it was supposed to.

The goalpost on this voting thing will always be moved. When was the last time black folks voted at an acceptable rate to where this wasn't an excuse and what was the result of this?

You right. They fukked up on that. But it wasn't a priority at the time.

But when they were given a gold platter to eat off of. IE. Ted Cruz shutting down the government. Obama fukked up the Obamacare rollout and lost the House.
