I think it's both. A lot of Black men have low self-esteem and a defeated attitude, but it's due to ths constant steam of anti-Black men propaganda pumped into their heads since childhood

I’ve applied to over 200 jobs the last 5 years. I have about 20 years in logistics and 7 in aviation logistics. Most of the time I don’t reach. I stay in my lane and apply to jobs I know I have the experience.
Granted many jobs have to be posted before they give it to somebody internal, but still.
Only 4 job offers. One was the post office but they will take anybody.
I put black to check off the diversity box. I need to not disclose. My last name is Flores so I might start checking the Latino as well.
Cause it is taught POORLY, intentionally, as a motive to keep the wealth gap extreme.
Can't wait till A.I. can solve that issue and outsource these incompetent math teachers.

From what I have seen go on in TLR so long as you're not openly Republican/Conservative you get a pass on making threads/posts that are pulling yourself up by the bootstrap. Yes and no. Last hired, first fired constantly will do that to some people. I've said before, you have to be a egotistical madman (like me) to really really win in this country. This is all due to racism. That said, we pay little attention to black men that do well so it skews things and even less attention that do well and sell their work to other people (still a win but we never count it as such since we only look at ownership and never what the result or purpose of that ownership was in the first place - some of us only made and owned something because we intended to sell that thing and move on to something else, like I did with my practice).
