Black men, how did we allow this matriarchy in the black community?

So you are saying because it's hard, black boys should stop or not try as much?

Didn't say that either.

In one post, you said young black men were practically handed opportunities, then you say it's harder for them. Which is it? You are oversimplifying these ideas and therefore, you are making them "petty". They are not as light as you are projecting them to be.

I said it's harder for them to get to that point where they are given opportunities at a rate other people aren't seeing, but when they get to that point, they are awarded more graciously than black women are. You are selectively reading and not taking statements/thoughts holistically; That's why you are petty. Nitpicking...

2. Why do you think women's salaries were mentioned in the debate? Women make less than men across the board for the same jobs, regardless of race. It's a big issue for white women as well.

3. Glass ceiling for black women: African American Women Face Serious Challenges In Climb Up The Corporate Ladder » The Glass Hammer

That's mostly in comparison to white men (black women make 94% of median income relative to black men's income) when comparing salaries. :manny:

I was talking about respectively to their racial counterparts.

But black women still make less than black men and are more likely to not be in higher level management positions.

I've never seen a black man complain about those facts though; but we want everyone to feel bad for us. :hamster:

That's why the black feminist movement was a good thing, even though dudes on here hate it so much. It involved the equality of everyone (besides transgenders :pachaha:)

i just googled the word........

so here's my answer.........simply

A head of the household, in a nutshell, is the breadwinner

If a mans wife brings in a similiar amount of bread or more then him, he aint really the breadwinner so he shares that throne.

So, if a nikka wants to be the head of his household he got to marry a female who brings in less then he does.........the less she makes in proption to him, the higher his throne sits....

Women don't have the same Responsibilities as men. women don't even really need money to find Companionship.

Not true at all. If you are a leader, you are a leader, doesn't matter who makes what. There are plenty of men who make less than their wife yet still lead the houshold, and there are plenty of men who make ALL the money yet have no control over the household.

That definition you found refers to head of household in a tax filing sense. The primary breadwinner files taxes as head of household, but that doesn't have anything to do with the actual dynamics of the household.

why you think irv gotti was able to talk to his "wife" the way he does........

cause thats nikkas throne towers over her and she knows it.......

this society is placing women and men on a equal playing field as far as the bread they bring and in turn its changing their mindstates as far as "regular" nikkas are concerned......

u want to be the king of your household, get ur cash up......however u can. The more u increase it compared to your wife's the more the natural order is restored.

The difference isn't necessarily due to discrimination, men work longer and women hold part time jobs more. Which doesn't coincide with the "advantage" argument black men supposedly have.:bryan: But hey, if working longer is an advantage then I'll take that.:dead:

but thats the thing dog........if the mission is to bring in the bread, and both of you are doing it equally.......how exactly do u think she's going to consider u a leader? Why exactly should she?

She's able to lead herself just as well or better then you..........and she knows it.

So its like, once that comes into play the whole head of household role is perverted........

yea, its some nikkas out here with dikk control over their bytches......but thats a spell these nikkas have over their bytches......and alot of times all it is is the woman giving the impression that she's submissive to that man or really being it....... just only in certain aspects of the realtionship..........like the bedroom and kitchen. Becaause once they're in an element that she feels she is better suited then he is, lets say a buisness luncheon with her peers or finicial matters, the roles will reverse (weather overtly or sub) and that nikka is effectively placed in the role of the bytch.

like who?

give me some examples.

My uncle for one. He doesn't work, my aunt works two jobs yet she better have his dinner cooked everyday. And he makes all the big decisions.

As for the weak dudes, it's all the ones complaining about their wife running up credit card bill, cheating on them, then divorcing them. These men were the sole breadwinners of their household yet they had no control of what was going on.
