First of all, this thread is indicative of a more intense negative effect on gender politics in general.
If I can get a story in, here... my coworker was complaining to me that she recently lost her old group of female friends because they were talking about how one of the girls was dating a really great guy (that my friend was also friends with) and that she should trap him with a baby because then he would have to propose to her and he would have to marry her. This woman really was trying to get the clamps on some guy because he had a good job and seemed stable enough. No attention to whether he wanted this shyt to happen to him or not, she would just "forget" her birth control, get pregnant, then trap his ass in a marriage he didn't want to be in. Or shame him if he didn't wanna get married as a deadbeat. Needless to say, she warned him and he dumped her like a bad habit. When they found out why, she got dumped by her friends.
I fukking hate when women try to pull this shyt. You ever hear the stupid ass fukking shaming that these women do? "If you didn't want a baby, you should have kept your dikk in your pants!!" This implies that they weren't a part of the sex, too (spoiler alert: they were), and that women are held to the same standard. Imagine if someone were to tell women, "If you didn't want a baby your ass should have kept your damn legs closed!" There would be an outcry against sexism. Women everywhere would act like it was the man's responsibility to assume a child that they didn't want.
You can't trap a good man, you have to actually give him a reason to stay. Women these days seem to think that men automatically owe women something because she had an "accident" and became pregnant with his baby after seeing a dude for 6-7 months. That's not going to make a family, that's going to fukk your shyt up and you're not going to create a stable family relationship. He will secretly resent you and the child you had together.
Women also seem to think that by fukking people that they're empowered and that they are owed something for having a vagina and using it with tons of guys. I dated a girl who thought that the main character from "nurse Jackie" was sexually empowered because she cheated on her husband. You can imagine how fast I left that relationship. Women who do this shyt are not fukking impressive. Even a fat ugly bytch can get dikk. All she has to do is go to the local bar and find some wasted sailors on shore leave or desperate frat guys. Nothing that is easy is empowering. How does this relate? Women these days, even after getting married will still try to get extra D on the side just to prove that she's empowered and can do this.
As corny as it sounds, only love can really create a strong family relationship. And it has to come before the family begins to grow. Growing and maintaining a good family is empowering and beautiful, but it sure as fukk ain't easy.
