You are assuming that Caribeans and Africans would base their claim in slavery just because youve decided to. Theoretically Africans could file claims about having their family members stolen and taken to the Americas as slaves. In this instance having you on board could strengthen their case. In terms of adding public pressure.


The point is who has decided that grounds is,and should be the basis for the case? Who has advised you that your case is stronger if you base it on grounds? Is it the Democrats pretending to entertain discussions about it? Or is it the 80% of white Americans who are against slavery based reperations ,based on grounds. The problem is many have deluded themselves into thinking the case is strong and going well. Im suggesting it is not,and one based in black oppression would be stronger. Although just as likely to be scoffed at by white supremacy.


But fact is leverage is the only way you can "demand" anything. And without non African Americans,and especially Africa,we have very little actual leverage against the U.S govt. right now "demanding" is just another word for asking white supremacist to do us a solid:respect:

But the issue there is those suits would be taken up with Portugal, England, Spain, France, etc. And even then they'd also have to sue the tribal leaders that sold their people into slavery as well. That context does not exist in America. So its kind of an apples to oranges thing. If you were born in Jamaica then your claims are with the UK up until about 1962. At that point, there weren't any slaves so Jamaica, as an independent nation, has never had slaves.

The US is different ADOS technically have claim against England and Spain and the US itself. But because the US actively enforced slavery for a hundred years, and we're currently in the US. You start there.

I firmly disagree with your "case is stronger with immigrants" stance. The rub has nothing to do with having solid grounds. It has to do with the sheer amount of cash it would take and the fact that taxes would have to go up to do it. Especially on non ADOS people. That doesn't have shyt to do with if people are Nigerian or not.

The better way to have the reparations argument is to bundle cash payments with things that aren't immediate financial gains but major legs up in return:

- free healthcare
- free post secondary education up to bachelor's degrees
- total federal student loan forgiveness
- free home loans
- cash payments
- exemption from Selective Service registration

Almost all of those would cost tax payers virtually nothing in the immediate. Which is all people care about.


Where I will agree is leverage. Black people don't have the capital or military might to have it. But we do have our political voice. And I think this should be the cornerstone of the black agenda. But nikkas don't want to be politicians.

Only people that should get reparations are ADOS with no immigrant or interracial lineage.

What about people that have one ADOS parent and one immigrant or white parent? Or one immigrant grandparent? What about an individual with three white grandparents and one ADOS grandparent? Should they get it?
Should a quadroon or octoroon get the same amount as someone with all ADOS linage?
