I've never been to an anime or comic convention so I might not know what I'm talking about, but they seem like one of those things that were probably a lot more fun before the Internet and social media.

Now you got a bunch of streamers, vloggers, and content creators on the hunt to fabricate content, trying to go viral by any means.

I mean think about Comic Con.

There was a time I'm sure movie companies were not interested in going.

Now they have A-list celebrities literally announcing movies in production there.

I'm sure there's Comic Con purist that remember what it was prior to the money and industry getting involved.

Needs to be more stuff like this than the people in the back dressed normally and boring. When the balance starts going that way is when people say it’s lost its touch.

Events like this are a place for people not to take themselves too seriously. Now people getting into fights and brawls over “disrespect”.

I do find it funny that it was seen as “mind blowing” that Megan Thee Stallion watched anime all but five years ago. People who looked like her “would never watch anime”. Now look.

by the time 2006-2008 came around watching anime was regular shyt.

Pokémon/DBZ/Naruto/BLEACH etc

followed up by MHA, and AOT years later.

Hoopers, Musicians, Football Players, Crips, Bloods all grew up on some form of anime
