Black people in the trades like construction. Latinos losing = Black people winning?

I’m gonna be honest, culturally Latin people have been built up and instilled to “work hard” no matter the job. It’s like ingrained in how they live, for better or worse. Even when paid not what they’re worth

If Latin people are such hard workers, why is it that almost every Latin country is in shambles and they are trying to leave. They can work hard in their own country and fix it up.

Governments are corrupt, and gangs have infested with politics

It’s also weird to state that when there are plenty of African countries feeling the same thing

The Truth
Another thing

Their cultures don’t look down on these jobs as well.

I know there are black folks that view these as good positions too no doubt, but if we talking about majority young people, thats not what they see/respect on the regular.

Not from what I can tell.

These immigrants will have the whole family working damn near. There is no “50/50” conversations. And yes, it is more than what they would get back home. Thats why they act the way they do too. Back home the family is wealthy.

I knew young Mexican dudes that got out of service and went straight to working as a contractor with their fam, building homes or digging up landscape and are literally enjoying life like that.

I had family like this but its few and far between these days. Would people be willing?

But yes, it will open a lot more positions. But will the wages be livable and fair is the question? They didn’t hire immigrants just because they can do the work, they hire because its cheap. Same with H1-B type shyt

TYRONE GA!
Yes you are cutting off the racist white boys cheap labor source.

Plus Black people starting at the bottom rung of construction can eventually start their own businesses

Yup. Unions aren't big in the South and are heavily "discouraged" so Black Construction Companies and Contractors need to jump in and take advantage of these situations.

Snitch on Cac companies using illegals to do their work too while you at it. Kill the competition :lolbron:

This one for example meets US and Canadian safety standards including ASTM F2412-11, ASTM F2413-11 and ASTM F2892-11 PR puncture resistance and CAN/CSA-Z195-14 Grade 1 with protective soles.

Kinda funny, you're actually making his point for him. Even Timberland knew what he was talking about, so they had to come out with Pro line that you posted.

I have a union construction background. I will be back to answer any questions. You can start asking them here.

Which is also underpaid FOR THE US, and white business owners are reaping the benifits.

That’s the very mentality that gets certain families stuck in a laborer tradition for generations cause “it’s better than where we came from”
They’re not Americans. It’s ONLY UNDERPAID FOR AMERICANS, NOT FOR ANYONE ELSE. Their very existence in the work force is the reason why we don’t get benefits.

Not saying that black men and women aren’t, I just don’t think they are too that level where they bypass the pay aspect

I don’t think young black men are gonna be out there trying to get construction jobs like that

This is 100% not true whatsoever. Being from California and growing up around a ton of Latinos/hispanics, they’re some of the laziest people I’ve ever seen :mjlol:
I was just talking to someone literally this morning about where that stereotype of them being hard working comes from, because it’s certainly false. As a matter of fact, the subject was the construction of new buildings/homes and how shoddy the quality is.
I’ve only seen hardworking ones in my time in LA…

Them nikkas are the kitchen staff of damn near every restaurant you can think of. Underpaid and sweating the ass off daily. Construction workers underpaid and grinding so much they wear their construction clothes on off days
