Intersectionality doesn't have to do with (People of Colour), it has to do with the intersection of issues for someone who isn't just oppressed in one category.
The intersection of poverty, Blackness, womanhood, sexuality, education, and country of origin are all incredibly important issues.
If you're not heavily an activist or working directly with your community, alongside the academic side of racial understanding the in the US, your opinion means jack-shyt in this thread. :camby:

Why should AAs see a group as "allies" when they don't understand (and in some cases aren't sympathetic) to our unique struggle?

Cause we're all Africans at the end of the day? We've all been fukked over by every other group there is? We're all seen as black at the end of the day?

Cause as time and time proves again...it's BLACK PEOPLE vs. EVERYONE ELSE.

No one understands white supremacy, race, racism, white privilege, and all of that more than US. I'm so shocked at how racially unaware other minorities are in America and on a global scale. And y'all other minorities expect us to speak up for you when you too scared to go at whitey?
:camby:

Get out of here. WE fighting this battle alone for all I care.

Alot of them gunning for that honorary white supremacist label...alot of them have anti-blackness deeply entrenched in their cultures and they use that to fit into white society. Alot of them exploit us too. They ain't our friends.

Sick and tired of being nice to people who wouldn't spit on us to put out a fire.
I think most of the coli has deaded it but the mainstream Blacks love it. That's how they get paid

Are you OK with illegal immigrants hijacking the black civil rights movement?

the other minority groups got the wool pulled over their eyes,
And think cause their not black its all good in the america .
Asians forget that they locked them up in camps during the ww2 and the racism the got during Vietnam.
Donald wants to ship all the Mexicans back over the border and we see how popular trump is.
i've heard alot of natives talk that peace racism is over.but they massacred over 100 million natives and made them live in some of the poorest places in america
But to be fair i think a lot of cacs are false claiming native ancestry
And Arabs are public enemy no1 they got no room to shyt on blacks
I've never heard any Native American man, woman or child so racism is over :heh:
And I know I know more Natives than most on this thread.
The same said for any poor Latino, especially Afro-Latinos, they know all about racism.
The only time you hear about a "lack" of racism is with some Asian groups, because they're placed in the "model minority" category, but again, if you're not talking to White-washed Asians, you'll find just as many, if not more, grievances.
Half of this thread is anecdotal evidence coming from people who hang around the wrong kind of people of colour. Instead of hanging around the dumbasses at your minimum wage job, start talking to the academics, the activists, the community leaders, the immigrants who face insurmountable odds, and others.
They have dramatically different stories to tell

Cause we're all Africans at the end of the day?

But we shouldn't focus on issues that may affect black women even though they're Africans at the end of the day too?

I notice nikkas are really picky and choosy about which black people on the diaspora are our "allies.". So every black person male around the globe automatically is (regardless of whether they understand us or not) but black women more or less have to prove they are. K.

Nah....let's just put it like this.

The gender war needs to go. The regionalism needs to go. The divisions need to go. If we're ever going to make any significant strides as a collective all of the extra stuff needs to go.

Support black men, women, children, no matter where they come from. Black first before anything.

And lets not act as if Black women don't face vastly different struggles than Black men do.
Alongside forced beauty standards and sexual commodification, they face violence from Black men, increased rates of abuse, entirely different body issues (including things like endometriosis, other chronic conditions, and vastly higher rates of HPV, and a greater chance of impoverishment due to abandonment after giving birth.)
The same goes for poorer Black people in contrast to wealthier Black people. We don't throw them all in the same category because they face a tremendously different set of issues.

youre so quick to defend them but what have they done that warrants that level of defense?

what tangibles have they brought to the black community?

the intersectionality/black feminist crew is all talk and theoretical , they do nothing transformative to tangibly help black people world wide.

people need to understand that black feminism is just a coping mechanism, they dont really care about the social, political, and economic equality of black women. if they did they'd stop writing ebony.com and madamnoire.com "think pieces", log off of twitter, and actually go to the hood to help black women.

dont get me started of fukking black academics, theyre the biggest frauds of them all. all that knowledge but they never put it to use.
