From Israel United in Christ (IUIC) facebook:
Israel United in Christ (“IUIC”) teaches that those who go against the Bible as it is written must immediately repent, get in order or be separated from the congregation. In reference to the incident in New Jersey, police authorities condemned now deceased David N. Anderson and Francine Graham, both suspected of committing multiple homicides and aggravated assaults in a Jewish shop in a Jewish community. IUIC’s official position follows Romans 13; whereas, we are to obey the laws of the land and submit to the authorities that have been placed over us by The Most High God. We STRONGLY condemn these actions and do not condone nor teach this type of behavior. Again, our message won’t change; IUIC strongly condemns criminal acts and in no instance advocates a disorderly society based upon physical violence.
However, irresponsible news media either intentional or without knowledge continue to label and misidentify criminal suspects as “Black Hebrew Israelites”. This erroneous group characterization creates a public perception that peaceful law abiding Christian church members are extremists or are somehow a hate group. Nothing is further from the truth. IUIC vehemently denounces such mischaracterization. Israelite organizations are made up of multiple skin colors and languages, just as varied as or more diversified than any Baptist or Catholic congregation assembling on any given Sunday throughout the United States. Each Israelite organization will have their own philosophies and ideologies, many completely in opposition to the other. Wherefore, using the label and grouping all as “Black Hebrew Israelites” misinforms the public and is irresponsible journalism.
Finally, Israelites cannot answer for any person who goes to church for a day or more then later commits a crime. That would not be just or righteous. Here, according to news sources, suspects Anderson and Graham are not members of any known Israelite congregation. To associate their alleged criminal acts to innocent law abiding members of our Church, IUIC, is shameful, irresponsible and unjust. To do so, itself, is a hate crime.
