Talking about the Election is a derail of the thread. The issue is the 7.5% unemployment rate is from August. We in October, so you can assume it’s up to 8%. That is more than a 3% increase in 2 years and it’s mostly due to Trump.

My advice to anyone who can is upskill in the meantime. Trump will pass and when hiring returns you’ll be in a better position.

There are other moves that can be made, like organizing, and lobbying, but discussing them on a forum is pointless cause we’re just talking that would require planning and executing.

I even had one interview where the interviewer gave me examples of “what they’re looking for and not looking for.” Everything negative was a black person and everything positive was a white person.
