Sure can... I have no qualms about talking openly with them about what we as black women go through, and it especially helps me deal with the bullshyt that comes along with my job (I'm the only black woman in an IT Department of about 500 people).

Wow, so black women aren't unemployed and jailed at disproportionate rates as their non-black counterparts? They aren't the group with the lowest wealth and socioeconomic status in this country? except i don't believe whining to society (or black women) will increase the value of black life. i'm not complaining about black male beauty standards or colorism. nor am i trying to brow beat black women into an unnatural position.
once again, do you UNDERSTAND why women are valued? until black women can figure this out, they will never understand how to fix the problem

My beef with society is that black people are paid less for doing the same job. My beef with society is that we have to be twice as good to get 50 percent of what we deserve. My beef with society is that in a male-dominated field, I not only have to deal with racism, I also have to deal with misogyny, both covert and not. My beef with society is that black mental illness is marginalized. My beef with society is that as a potential business owner, I'll have to jump through hoops that "others" may not have to. My beef with society is that I have to worry that one day, my husband, brother, uncles, cousins or nephews might get shot like a dog in the street simply because of the color of their skin. My beef with society is that regardless of how much we do, it still doesn't feel like we've progressed because of the bullshyt structure that is in place.
I don't purport to speak for all or even most black women and while most of these issues aren't gender-based, they are the things I'm concerned with. I don't necessarily concern myself with the two topics you mentioned, but just because I don't doesn't negate the fact that those concerns ARE valid for other women.

Im not against women leading at all if you read. But women such as yourself are no good. You spew hate towards males. those arent issues specific to black women, these are issues that we suffer from collectively as a race.
when it comes to what you all are bytching about, its the same tired song. dead beat dads, nikkas wanting light skinned women and us being blamed for what 0.1% of black celebs are doing.

I WISH I can find a black female geek. If we connect and has a good personally as well I'd wife her in a heart beat.
I force my (female) friends to watch stuff with me, but we usually alternate. If I have to watch Dancing with the Stars or Dance Moms, then they gotta watch Doctor Who or some Fullmetal Alchemist (subbed, not dubbed... dubbed is for the birds). Some of them have actually started watching it on their own without me even prompting, or they'll ask me for suggestions on what to watch, and I have to admit, it makes me a little proud that I've introduced them to it
Most of my male friends work in the same industry I do (IT), so we actually bonded over some geek stuff. A few years ago, about 6 of us had a standing invitation that once a week, we'd grab lunch and then go chill at the comic book shop that was down the street from our job... just shoot the shyt, see what they had in stock, and get our nerd on. One of them even convinced me to try Magic the Gathering, but that was just too much LOL
idk why but I can NEVER get behind those gimicky card-game animes lol It's so damn cheesy.

You ain't lying breh, some of these women based there black men hate black women by social media.
They think is the majority which it is not, we are 47 million in this country, 10,000 black men basing black women on twitter can look like a lot.
They never have proof of this black women basing in the media by black men.
I ask one poster who likes to post her text in pick which I will keep nameless,
