My analysis of ATL is based on who I'd moving there and data that I'm seeing on black male homelessness. ATL is currently at the stage that black bay area was in during the 2000s. Been seeing a lot of Indians and Mexicans flocking to ATL as well.

Postal workers seem miserable now, will see them out (rarely on Sundays, never used to see that) and somedays delivering mail when it's dark. Can tell they are overworked and understaffed doing deliveries so late in the day

My local USPS is constantly understaffed during the week. Depressing.

No school necessary but they do have both associates and certificate level coursework if you want to self sponsor your own training.

They mainly operate the dialysis facilities. So it's hooking people up to the machines and monitoring their vitals as the machines work their magic on their blood. An actual nephrologist (md) holds the license for the facility, but the day today operations of the place is left to kidney techs. Because of how unhealthy the American population is, there is a lot of demand for them. So much so that they actually hire people without any certification and train them on the job.

And in most states they make the same amount as nurses, without a lot of the stresses of the nursing industry like lifting people, changing diapers, dealing with vomit, being on your feet all day, etc.

I remember losing my job last year because my company went bankrupt. I was fortunate because I got a severance package and since my career field is in finance, I was able to get a job within a couple of weeks after I applied for a new position. Thank GOD!

I can’t imagine losing my job just because some racist south Afrikaner decided black people didn’t deserve certain positions.

I just hope those women are able to bounce back from this set back and if their jobs are government positions, I hope they can transition that into another opportunity.

It’s really disgusting how some are laughing at the potential hardships those women may be facing, but again I know the disdain for black women is real for a certain subset on here. Wanting to see another person suffer for your own enjoyment is pretty despicable behavior.

Congrats for finding employment that quickly! Within a couple of weeks...great. does ur new job pay more? U like it better? More area for job/career growth?

When I got laid off in 2015...it took me a month to find a new job...which isn't bad...considering it takes some many months.
