I dont know what happen with TO. He wasnt that bad on Cincy, almost had 1000 yards.Surprised he didnt at least get a tryout with a team.A 38 year old TO wouldnt be a bad #3 WR :manny:

he did have a good season for the bengals, but they chose not to re-sign him. he tore his ACL that offseason, had he not he probably would have been signed by someone im guessing

He tore his ACL,but TO is a quick healer. He showed it in the workouts which no team attended. Now he definteley was blackballed.Surprised a team like the Oakland Raiders didnt pick him up. Yet bums like TJ Whosyourmamaandaddy got picked up by the Raiders :leon:

Not saying McCants was a all world talent, but he's way more talented than say James Jones or Kyle Korver. Rashad could contribute but he's not given the chance. Going from a god awful situation in Minnesota to a just as bad Kings team definitely didnt help either.

Everything is about chance and opportunity, just because you don't recieve it doesn't mean you were blackballed.

I'm gonna breakdown the Marty Mcsorely reference to my non hockey educated brothas

On February 21, 2000, McSorley, playing for the Boston Bruins, swung his stick and hit Donald Brashear in the head with 3 seconds left in the game. Brashear fell backwards and hit his head hard on the ice. Brashear lost consciousness and suffered a grade 3 concussion.

McSorley was charged with assault and suspended by the NHL for the remainder of the 1999–2000 season (including playoffs) missing 23 games. On October 4, 2000, a jury found McSorley guilty of assault with a weapon for his attack on Brashear. He was sentenced to 18 months probation. The trial was the first for an on-ice attack by an NHL player since 1988.

After his assault conviction his NHL suspension was extended to one full year through February 21, 2001. McSorley would never play in another NHL game.

During his suspension McSorley attempted to continue playing hockey in the United Kingdom with the London Knights where his elder brother Chris was coaching but this move was blocked by the International Ice Hockey Federation in respect to the NHL. A similar intention to play in Germany for the Munich Barons also failed. McSorley would play for the Grand Rapids Griffins in their final IHL season, dressing for 14 games.
In the autumn of 2001, following the completion of his suspension, McSorley again looked towards the other side of the Atlantic. He considered purchasing the then struggling Cardiff Devils team with his brother in order to pursue a new player-coach role and to develop interest in the sport in the UK.
McSorley appeared as a guest player for both Great Britain and the Cardiff Devils during a series of exhibition games in November 2001, but the business deal failed to materialise.

Dude had a full career and is homies with wayne fukkin gretzky, but cant touch anything NHL ever again

It's their league and they have a right to do that

There's no rule saying they have to sign the most talented players.

I wouldn't be surprised if owners got together behind closed doors and agreed to something like that

Actually, they don't.

TO is another guy who burned a lot of bridges and now no one will give him the shot he deserves. In the past when he was given last shots, he got all diva and fukked it up. Dude is more than capable of being a WR in this league but he's locker room toxic.

It sucks because he's such a great personality when he wants to be. If he wasn't such an a$$hole he'd certainly have a roster spot somewhere in the NFL, and could easily land a desk job at ESPN/NBC/NFL Network/etc considering how witty he is.

Because he's not worth the headache. There's a reason he can't stay on one team.
