With that said Blackkklansman was good for what it was.

It was a bag of bullshyt. He’s done WAY better work and should have been won. Same with Regina King. Beale Street was awful, but she’s done much better work. Hell the Netflix series 7 seconds was better than what she won for. It’s kinda frustrating, but I’m happy for them nonetheless.

as a long time critic and hater of spike lee films i find it easy to believe OP.....i've yet to see the movie but his visions are just garbage to me....aside from Malcolm X and Get On The Bus I've hated everything he's ever done...
