I have no problem with Adele being the "queen of soul", IF---IF she was the most talented. But the reality is, there's black female singers out there with big voices who are ignored.
You cannot ignore the racial element that exists with Adele. A great song with soul lyrics and passsionate singing like "Shame" from Tyrese probably sold 20,000 SINGLES and Adele comes out with her song and sells 3 million whole ALBUMS. The whole world knows who Tyrese is, so it's not like he's a nobody.
