Last thing I made was Philly Cheesesteaks. Used the Blackstone Cheesesteak seasoning, provolone, onions, and Marvin rolls. Of course actual shaved sirlion will always be better but you can use the Steak Umm brand for a faster cook without going through the shaving process. The meat cooks in less than a minute. The fam enjoyed it.

Ima ask yall. Does the shyt make food taste any better? Pause. Like cooking on a charcoal grill you get those charcoal flavor. What u get from the griddle? Anything special? I don't get the reasoning.
The fact you can cook just about anything on it makes it special. Ever tried to make eggs and pancakes on a charcoal grill lol

Yes, from the seasoning of the grill, even heat distribution, and the caramelization it creates on everything.

It’s basically a giant caste iron skillet.

Yup. Family loves breakfast on it.

The best thing is to drop a chunk of hickory and a chunk of mesquite into the coals, add and entire case of eggs, season the eggs. Put the cover on and let the smoke hit the eggs. :ohlawd: :ohlawd: :ohlawd: :ohlawd: .


You'll never eat eggs any other away, ever.

Got a solid blacked out NextGrill 7 burner from Costco couple of days ago for $419. I went ahead and baught a Carbon Steel Griddle insert that can convert my grill to a griddle just waiting for it to come in. At that point I don't see a reason to get a Blackstone. Any brothers out there notice a different in just using a griddle insert??
