Don’t forget Bron’s trips to the finals where he dwarfs MJ in 2nd place finishes
I just went through like the first 15 pages of your post history and almost every single post either mentions the name “LeBron” directly or shyts on him indirectly. :dead:

You’re unquestionably the biggest loser on this entire forum.

The mutha****in BX
These lists are bullshyt 99.9 percent of the time

With that said, Tim Duncan is the most protected player in NBA history

The guy joined a perennial 50-win team that tanked one year. Gets swept multiple times. Loses to an 8th seed. Gets outplayed by his teammates. Got consistently outplayed by the biggest rival in his era. Not only never repeated, but only went to b2b Finals once, towards the end of his career.

Amazing PR that guy gets

He also shot 10-27 in G7 of the finals and generally shot like ass in the 2005 Finals even though all his shots were close range but it was never held against him and no one ever said Manu was the real FMVP

Swept twice. "Multiple" seems like an exaggeration over the course of a 19 year career.
Once in 2001 where he averaged 23/12/4/4.
And once in 2010 where he averaged 20/10/3/3.

But that's okay.

It could be worse.
He could have quit on his team after being up 3-1 in a playoff series. That would have been truly shameful.

The same Bleacher Report that said this:

Kobe Bryant: NBA Player of the Decade

Brian D.Jun 7, 2018

It pains me to write this article.
As a die hard Portland Trailblazer fan, this is almost as hard as writing an article declaring Greg Oden a bust. (Luckily, I don’t think that article needs to be written. Yet.)
But the truth must come out, so here I go.

During the upcoming NBA All-Star game, TNT is announcing their "All-Decade" selections, including their pick for "Player of the Decade."

There is no question that this distinction belongs to Kobe Bryant.

:childplease:

did they upload that article 8 years late? No way Kobe should be the player of the 2010s when someone went to 8 straight finals.

8 straight finals and only won 3 and lost 5. That’s with creating 2 super teams. LeBron is the participation trophy goat :sadbron:

Imagine MJ or Kobe being signed to a shoe company that airs a commercial like this about you :laff:

maybe the people around you weren't fans.

he was on video game covers, magazine covers, tv shows, red carpets..what are we even talking about? acting like Kobe was hated is absurd and revionist history. only people that hated him were in philadelphia. some thought he was corny but hated? he had every endorsement deal. he was probably the most loved basketball player prior to Colorado. after colorado is when he got the black community tbh
nah bruh nikkas hated kobe something serious. People didnt start liking kobe until 08-09...and even more after he tore his achilles ..

remember how people sided with Shaq when Shaq clearly was an insecure af hating ass nikka ???

people loved it when kobe lost that championship to the Celtics. Then dude came back and won back to back.

you know how we know ppl hate kobe?? They use Pau fcking Gasol to show kobe had a lot of help. Same Pau who made all NBA once and all star ONCE in the 8 years he had been in the league prior to joining the Lakers :dead:

Ive always wondered what it is about Kobe that creates such variance where people have him ranked.

I've seen him anywhere from top 15 to 1

And I don't even mean the trolls but like the older media guys too
Would you trust the opinion of anybody who put Kobe’s career anywhere in the top three?
:childplease:
You can’t be objective and say Kobe’s career was on the level of MJ, Kareem or LeBron.
:scust:
I’m down with the Russell/Wilt slander. They will be outside the top ten soon enough. Magic, Bird and Duncan are Teflon. I’m good with Curry being top ten. Shaq is 8-12 range for me. Kobe is 8-12 range for me as well.
