This nikka leaked an unmastered version of the group's highly anticipated album more than a year before it's official release. Just so he could make some quick bucks. Somethings wrong with dude...

I used to be a huge Blu stan, and I'm not hating him right now. I'm just a disappointed fan. Beneath The Heavens is a classic album to me. IMO it opened the door for the new wave of introspective, chill hip hop of Cole, Drake, KRIT, Kendrick, etc. I liked Johnson & Johnson, that album is very dope. I really liked Her Fav Color, which ushered in his period of dark production with vintage samples. But since then it's been all lo fi soul stuff and mumbled verses that don't do anything for me. All unmastered, all with low drums.

And don't get me started on that UCLA/Madlib farce. Again, he leaked an album before it was finished in order to make a quick buck off his devoted fans. shyt is sad.

Blu and Cole are nothing alike. Blu is much deeper and more sophisticated and poetic mc.

when it comes to lyricism, Blu is up there with gza, Lupe, common and them. Cole is not close. He's good though.

I'd compare Cole to Stalley. A little bit of Wale too.

Blu is better but J.Cole is rich so i'm sure Blu wouldn't mind being in Cole's shoes either.

i think Fashawn is better than both tho.

You Mean No York, Jesus, UCLA, her favorite colour ....

He never even mixed and mastered them sh.its ..... trying to charge people money for them on bandcamp ... :mindblown:

Our brother Anakin has fallen, may he rest in peace

:youngsabo:

Accept it and move on ...

except for UCLA and that godleebarnes everything came out mastered :dead: :rudy:

Eh? He released most of his shyt unmastered for sale, and then later it was remastered/sold officially. It's a pattern for him, going back years. I can't fukk with him anymore.

Blu is definitely on a higher level than J.Cole in pretty much every possible way outside of popularity. No pun on the "higher".

Speaking of higher though, where is this Blu being a drug addict stuff coming from? I've never heard of this.
