You’re right. I’m thinking more about Diego Luna fronted Rogue One and Andor.

The later had the lowest viewership of an D+ show despite being critically acclaimed and really good.

The bolded is a shame, and unfortunately, I'm entirely certain they'll take the wrong lesson from it, and assume that a non-white protagonist was the problem.

When in reality, the audience has been conditioned to only really care about stuff revolving around the the Skywalker family, and they decided to make two seasons of a show about a non Skywalker character they killed in the same movie they introduced him in, that came out probably about four years too late.

Diego died 2 min into rogue one. Having a Hispanic character doesn't make it a Hispanic show breh

Have you seen that movie? Cause the opening of Rogue one is Jyn and her father.

And no you’re right, but putting money behind a Latino actor to front a major project is important to get more projects. You think Jordan Peele’s Key/Peele, Twilight Zone , Keanu, Weird City or was for black people?.. nah, but it allowed him to produce more projects with minorities in front like Hunters, Candyman, Lovecraft Country.
