Right now, Bo Pelini winning 9 or 10 games a year and being middle of the road in the B1G and far away from national title contention was not it.

anything worth seeing a little outside of Lincoln? only cornfields breh
is Nebraska known for playing an attractive and fun brand of football? no

Ole Miss has had top 10 recruiting classes the last 2 or 3 years. Ole Miss was a nothing program for most of our lives until the last 2 or 3 years.

Baylor were a nothing program until the last 2 or 3 years.

The point I am making is the right coaches changes everything.

No one can even point to where Manhattan,Kansas is and they been doing better than Nebraska or at least as good. Their GAWD coach came back and changed everything.

That can happen at Nebraska too. (not Osbourne coming back but the right coaching hire).

you do know that teams like Miami, Florida, and Florida St weren't shyt before the 80's, right? Once they established a level of accomplishment, they try to hold themselves to it. According to your logic, they should've just settled with the Zooks and Cokers because, after all, they weren't traditional powerhouses and winning champions wasn't "their place in the grand scheme of things".
