2013 had a better class than miami, regon, tennessee, texas, va tech, miss state, tcu, baylor, cal, arkansas etc.

you do know that teams like Miami, Florida, and Florida St weren't shyt before the 80's, right? Once they established a level of accomplishment, they try to hold themselves to it. According to your logic, they should've just settled with the Zooks and Cokers because, after all, they weren't traditional powerhouses and winning champions wasn't "their place in the grand scheme of things".

Florida didn't win a NC before then but we weren't garbage. We had a Heisman winner in 66

I'm not one of the posters arguing about the allure of campus location's, but Tuscaloosa and Auburn have better weather and are in a better conferences. Wisconsin, as far as I know doesn't even recruit as well as well as BAMA or AU.
