Boxing has been around for centuries. UFC for less than three decades. Of course it isn't going to be as big. It needs time to become ingrained into the culture.

'Overtaking' isn't a priority at the moment. Establishing more stars and developing talent, fostering future names is the current issue.
I do wish they would do some comical match ups like in Pride.
UFC fights are much more entertaining as a whole than half the fights you see on boxing ppvs though.. the UFC's biggest star might be a woman but she has so many more tools in her box (no pun intended ) than Money May. Mayweather does NOT wanna clinch up with Rousey.

thats gonna end as soon as fighters stand up to white and the fertittas. some of these events make a shyt load of money and they just stiff the fighters. this shyt is still in its infancy tho so theres more changes to come.

Being that the UFC is in its' infancy isn't an excuse. Sports leagues have unions. It's not he first sports league. MLS was brand new and they had a union from the jump. Same with the WNBA. MMA leagues are on some bullshyt.

i think its easier for sports teams to unionize tho. i may be wrong but boxers dont have a union do they? it might be very hard to do. there has to be some solution tho cause dudes are getting fukked over big time.

Nah, no Union in boxing. But there is some legislation about it called the Ali act.

Maybe MMA can be included in that. Or maybe the fighters can smarten up and see how much they're making the league.

I might be easier to do in a team sport, but actors have a union as well and they're pretty much independent contractors (to use a non-sports comparison)
